ABOUT

Born in Pakistan and raised in Singapore, 20-year-old Shahmeer "Sham" Madni is pushing the boundaries of various music genres to create his own sound. Sham grew up playing the guitar, saxophone, piano and drums, but he doesn't want to stop there. Being a 'Third-Culture Kid' his sound, rhythm, and emotions are inspired by the many cultures that surround him. Producing and writing all of his music, Sham strives for catchiness with auditory complexity in hand.

His latest and experimental and adventurous track 'Modern Philosophy' caught the attention of Singapore music moguls Jon Chua (from The Sam Willows) and Shorya (RIIDEM). With their support, Sham strives to deliver music that will connect with listeners from every culture.
