ABOUT

Jon Chua JX is a member and co-founder of The Sam Willows, arguably the most successful English music act in Singapore. He has been nominated thrice for the MTV EMA for 'Best Southeast Asian Act' and won several music awards in Singapore and around the region.

EXPERIENCE

As a Sony Music Artist, Jon has worked with some of the best music producers around the world, including Steve Lilly white (U2, Rolling Stones) and Harry Sommerdahl (Pussycat Dolls, The Wanted). His compositions have gone on to earn several gold statuses, topping various radio and iTunes charts.

Jon opened Zendyll Studios in 2016. His knowledge of music and businesses drove him to combine his love for sound design and entrepreneurship. The studio has since worked with top acts in Singapore, along with commercial brands such as Golden Village Cinemas, DBS, Changi Airport and Adidas.

In 2018, Jon launched Zendyll Records. The company aims for artistes, producers and songwriters to build a new culture for effective collaboration. The label focuses heavily on Artist & Repertoire (A&R) development, music publishing, music production, songwriting, as well as branding and marketing. To build up a collective of top producers, songwriters and Artist that would have a place in the global music eco-system.

INFLUENCE

With a loyal Instagram following of over 25,000 followers, Jon has been an ambassador of Audi, Hugo and Adidas. In 2019, Jon, as part of The Sam Willows, made the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list.
